The digital keepsake can be obtained when Foursquare users check into any Whistler Blackcomb location. In total there are more than 60 venues comprised of mountain zones, lifts, retail/rental locations, mountaintop restaurants, bars, and ski runs.

<title>Blake Jorgenson Named King of Storms at Deep Winter Photo Challenge, Presented by ARC'TERYX, Whistler Blackcomb</title>
<description>January 17, 2011 – Robin O'Neill takes 2nd, Andrew Strain 3rd and Ilja Herb wins Best in Show. Iconic Whistler photographer Blake Jorgenson took home the King of Storms title at the fifth annual Deep Winter Photo Challenge, presented by ARC'TERYX and Whistler Blackcomb. Second place went to the event's first-ever female competitor, Robin O'Neill, and third went to up-and-coming photographer Andrew Strain. Ten-year photography veteran, Ilja Herb's epic ski photo was voted Best in Show by the panel of judges.

<title>Ski for Free at Whistler Blackcomb During Annual Santa Day</title>
<description>December 13, 2010 – Whistler Blackcomb's annual "Dress like Santa Day" takes place this Sunday, December 19. A free lift ticket will be awarded to the first 50 people to arrive at the base of Whistler Mountain in full Santa or Mrs. Claus attire. To qualify, skiers and snowboarders must arrive dressed in their very best Santa or Mrs. Claus costume. The costume must include red or black pants or a skirt for Mrs. Claus, a red jacket with white trim, a black belt, a beard for Santa and of course, a Santa or Mrs. Claus hat. The meeting time for all Santa and Mrs. Claus participants is 8:00am on the patio of the Garibaldi Lift Company at the base of Whistler Mountain. One free lift ticket per person will be awarded to the first 50 people who meet full costume requirements.

<title>Passion For Snow Fuels Whistler Blackcomb's Excitement For 2010.11</title>
<description>With early season snow already appearing on the mountain, skiers and snowboarders around the world are anxiously awaiting the 2010.2011 season, particularly after last winter's record breaking snowfall. As the second snowiest season on record, with a total snowfall accumulation of 1,492cm or 49 feet, the 2009.2010 winter brought Whistler Blackcomb's average annual snowfall to 1,024cm or 33.6 feet. Meteorologists are also predicting a La Niña winter which means colder than normal temperatures and consistent heavy precipitation across Western Canada.</description>
