Who are those weirdos lining up at the base of the mountain as early as 6:45 a.m, and more importantly, what do they know that we don’t? Ask any local and they’ll give you the answer: on big powder days, it’s all about filling up your stomach on a hearty buffet breakfast at the Roundhouse Lodge and then hitting the mountain first to claim all the untouched powder. Locals know that the only way to go is with a Fresh Tracks ticket.
