MEDIA SUPPORT & VISITS
As a true four-season resort, Whistler Blackcomb has a story to tell every day of the week, every week of the year. We want to share what makes this place so special, and inspire people from all over the world to visit us and fall in love with our resort as we did. We need your help to do this, and will work with you to provide the tools and resources that you need to tell the Whistler Blackcomb story.
Our online media kit has been created to provide a wealth of story ideas, stats and facts to introduce you to all aspects of our mountain playground. The kit also provides information on how to access mountain photography and video for editorial purposes.
We hope you will find it informative and helpful. If you have any feedback or feel something is missing, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us at 604-938-7668.
Please remember, we'd love to see your work! The PR team would appreciate a copy of any resulting stories or films for our media archives. Our address is Whistler Blackcomb, 4545 Blackcomb Way, Whistler BC, V0N 1B4.

Complimentary Lift Tickets
A media rate or complimentary lift tickets and rental equipment can be made available to working media, photographers and/or filmmakers directly responsible for producing a project or story that will provide promotional consideration to Whistler Blackcomb. Such support is determined by and subject to the discretion of the PR Department.
- If you are a freelancer, please be prepared to provide a letter of assignment or contact information for the publication you are writing for.
- Please send us an email outlining a formal ticket request with a detailed summary of your assignment at least 48 hours prior to arrival, clearly outlining names, dates, publication/outlet that you’re working for, and a synopsis of the planned story to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Moving around on Whistler Blackcomb is best accomplished on skis or a snowboard. If you do not ski, there are a number of great vantage points that can be accessed as a sightseer (foot passenger) via the Whistler Village Gondola and the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola.
Please note that for safety reasons, filming while in motion on a snowmobile is not permitted on either mountain. We request that TV and film crews get in touch with our office well in advance to ensure there is time to work out a suitable logistical plan.
Whistler Blackcomb operates the ski lifts that provide access to Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, and does not own or operate any accommodation. For any requests for accommodation assistance, we recommend you contact the Tourism Whistler Media Relations Department.
Please review the “Media Visits” section of the Tourism Whistler “Media” website for further information.
