Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain face each other. Their physical connection at the base would suggest similarities between them. Amber joined the Whistler Blackcomb PR team in April 2007 and is now the social media lead for the company and a supervisor of media relations in the Destination, Canadian and Regional markets.
Amber – a self-professed closet tech nerd - grew up on a sailboat in the tropics and moved to Canada when she was 8. As an adult, she has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, Central America, and Thailand, but is proud to call beautiful British Columbia her home. Her passion for snowboarding brought her to Whistler, where she's found life's perfect balance: snowboarding during the winter and riding her bike and hiking in the Alpine during the summer.

Lauren is an Ontario native and the newest member of the Whistler Blackcomb Public Relations Department. She jumped on board in April 2010 and is very excited to be a part of the team.
Lauren first moved to Whistler in the spring of 2006 after completing her degree in Communications at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. She spent the summer mountain biking and hiking the alpine and it did not take long for her to fall in love with life in the mountains. She returned to Ontario that fall to complete her post-graduate studies at Sheridan College in Oakville. After spending a year working at a boutique public relations agency in downtown Toronto, Lauren heeded the call of the mountains once again. She moved back to Whistler in the spring of 2008 and has been loving life in the valley ever since.
During her time in Whistler, Lauren has developed a love of snowboarding, yoga and photography.

Ryan has been skiing since the age of five including a few years to figure out snowboarding before switching back to two planks. After graduating college Ryan's passion for skiing and the outdoors brought him to Whistler. If you reverse Ryan's first and last initial you will see that the only logical choice for a career was in PR. Ryan has worked for Whistler Blackcomb for nearly six years, joining the PR team two years ago from the operational side of Whistler Blackcomb as a Food and Beverage Supervisor.
Ryan's vast knowledge of the mountains and what they have to offer, besides more than 8,000 incredible, skiable acres, as well as his understanding of the ski and snowboard industry, has made him a key contact in Whistler Blackcomb's Public Relations department.

Stephen grew up just down the road in Vancouver and spent most of his weekends as a child skiing at Whistler Blackcomb. So when the opportunity finally presented itself, it was no surprise he decided to call Whistler his new home in the summer of 2004.
After a season dedicated to the snow, Stephen returned to Vancouver to earn his diploma in Marketing Management at BCIT in Burnaby B.C. Once done, he immediately returned to Whistler in the summer of 2007 before joining the Public Relations Team one year later.
Some people dream of hot sunny days on the beach, but Stephen will take blizzards and knee deep powder any day of the week.

Tabetha grew up in Oakville Ontario and, like most other Ontario transplants; it didn't take her long to develop the "quest for the west."
Moving to Whistler in the fall of 2004, Tabetha hasn't looked back. After one season as a supervisor in a retail rental store at Whistler Blackcomb, Tabetha moved into the public relations department. Tabetha completed her MBA, Public Relations and Communications Management at Royal Roads in May, 2009. Her thesis involved creating the foundation for Whistler Blackcomb's media relations and communications plan for February 2010.
